Dress in your retro best and enjoy the glamour of Hollywood’s golden era at the Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team’s second annual Art for SART benefit, “Vintage Hollywood.”

Come watch painting and sculpture in progress or bid to become part of the art unfolding around you, including a Film Noir movie trailer. You can dance to Big Band and jazz and bid on fine local wines – or take part in Art for SART’s second annual tableau vivant, costumed and posed as a Hollywood star making a red-carpet entrance.

Proceeds will help fund JC SART’s crucial free services for area victims of sexual assault, and their prevention programs.

7/12/13 Blue Lightning at RoxyAnn Winery!

Join us this Friday, July 12th for a spectacular show! Blue Lightning is an act you will not want to miss. Blue Lightning has played many genres over its 20 years – country, rock, funk – but two things have remained the same: It’s always been a women’s band, and its focus has remained on pleasing the audience. Blue Lightning loves getting audience members out of their seats and cutting a rug. Be prepared to dance!

The RoxyAnn Tasting Room has light appetizer type foods for sale, along with beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Music Starts at 6:30 pm and goes until 8:30 pm.

Hot Food Trucks will also be here serving fantastic food!

Good thing my band mates were paying attention to our schedule this weekend, because I had the Blue Lightning gig posted on the wrong date!  Turns out I have two gigs on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12, 2013, at the Art in Bloom Festival, downtown Medford.  Blue Lightning at 11am, After Burners at 2:45pm.  See you there!
